Is time really the enemy? Or is it just something we like to throw the blame on when it comes to our miseries and misfortunes?
Give it time, be patient, have hope… all statements that equal one thing: giving time the opportunity to work it’s magic. but how often can we wait without being miserable and in pain. is it possible to just live day to day, hour to hour, relying on nothing but time. Time flies by. It passes by an individual just like a train- you either decide to get on and give it a chance-or you decide to let it pass you by.
There’s no other reason or explanation of letting something pass you by unless you have hope in something better, something that is exactly what you want. exactly what you’ve been looking for. Your life is literally a train track full of train stops, and it’s up to us to either stop or keep going.
You never really realize how fast time flies until you find yourself at the age you’ve dreamt about your whole life, but seem to still have the same exact wishes. 16 years later. same wishes. 17, 18, 19… and the list can keep going. Slowly one starts to realize that time really isn’t the enemy anymore. We constantly look for ways to escape our inner anger that we forget to realize the bigger picture-we control time.
Time will always be in our control. The pain, misery, and the impatient mind are all factors that override the things we should be thankful for, the things we should keep in mind when we begin a new day.
Everyday contains time & if time is it’s own enemy, than the enemy of the enemy should always be our friend.
